Our aspiring jack-o-lantern

We have lost 5 teeth so far this summer and four of them have been Mason's. The remaining was Mo's, and Mitch keeps wiggling his (or trying). Then he says, "When I'm six...."

In about 10 years.....

Projects.... so many projects..... Our house turns 9 years old in August. I LOVE our house, but I do have advice for any who are hoping to or are about to build.

1) It will be to your benefit to own a home before you decide to build one. (This way you will have a better idea about what you like and what you need.)

2) However, realize that what you like will probably change so make sure that you are constantly socking away money for paint and such so that when you finally can't stand it you have some funds to support some redecorating..... and maybe don't paint your bathroom dark purple.

3) Make sure you aren't attached to timelines. I can't tell you how many times we've said "We'll do that in ten years" or "that's on the 10 year plan". Ten years sneaks up on you real quick... and well lets just say we've got to accomplish a boat load in the next year to make our "In about 10 years" list a reality.

However, here is a start. We added an egress window to our basement (Yeah!)
